Abstract

|
Localized collection of bile within the peritoneal cavity, "biloma", may occur after surgery or trauma and are readily detected by sonography and computed tomography .Authors experienced intraperitoneal biloma developed from sequle of complicated cholecystitis and biliary stone. A thick walled, relatively well cricumscribed, internally multiple sepatated and lower smudged echogenic lesion in peritoneal cavity strongly suggests the diagnosis.We experienced a case of intraperitoneal biolma and report with a review of literatures.
